1965 SUNBEAM TIGER MARK I


This 1965 Sunbeam Tiger is one of the original Mark I autos that created it as a bona fide dread in the city and in European and American wears auto rivalry. One of 7,067 Mk I Tigers manufactured, it is controlled by the minimized Ford Galaxie 260 CI 2-barrel V-8 and close proportion 4-speed manual transmission as specified via Carroll Shelby, whose boss technician, the unbelievable Phil Remington, fabricated one of two models for assessment (the alternate was assembled by Shelby's companion and driver Ken Miles) by Rootes Group before giving the indicator for processing.


It is finalized in right Carnival Red with a Black inner part and Red funneling and is in surprising condition after a minor corrective restoration. A four-manager auto whose story was chronicled in the September 1993 issue of Muscle Car Magazine, it in addition fuses uncommon 13-creep LAT 4-talked aluminum wheels with U.S. Illustrious Tiger Paw Redline tires, power front disc brakes, good looking Mahogany dash and guiding wheel and a locking focus support.
