1966 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS CONVERTIBLE



In 1966 the Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 came to be a marked model, with roadsters distinguished by 13817 VIN codes and convertibles by the 13867 VIN. Styling was all revamped: the Chevelle's previously boxy presence gave course to a subtle unique Coke-container shape that proposed more muscle, which it conveyed in several stages from 325 HP up to 375 HP.


One of 5,429 SS396 convertibles constructed in 1966, this triple Black illustration has been restored to as-initial condition with revamped professionally fulfilled Tuxedo Black paint and revamped chrome. The auto's matching numbers L34 motor – furnished with round-port heads, an exhibition water powered-lifter cam and Rochester 4-barrel carburetor has been altogether reconstructed and itemized to mill specs; a right Muncie 4-speed and the definitive 12-jolt back close finish the drivetrain.

Optioned with force front disc brakes, a force delicate beat and Redline tires, this attractive great piece 4-speed convertible shows 75,201 genuine miles and has been determined simply 200 miles seeing that its finishing.
