The 409 legend developed in 1962 when Chevrolet constructed this auto, the Chevrolet Impala SS controlled by another form of that celebrated internationally motor with double Carter 4-barrel carburetors, an aluminum towering-flood admission complex and lighter valve rigging. The effect was 409 torque – the enchanted one pull for each cubic crawl. This wonderfully restored 1962 SS hardtop puts the 409/409 HP powerplant as a single unit with a deck-moved 4-speed manual transmission for the extreme in Impala exhibition.
Wrapped in Tuxedo Black paint with a Red inner part, the auto puts forth a standout amongst the most charming shade syntheses ready, with spinner hubcaps and Whitewall tires for included show offer. This case's Strato basin situates and focus bolting reassure were standard with the SS bundle, as were the traveler snatch bar, chromed movement plate and section-mounted 7,000 RPM tachometer.
