In its second year of generation the Eliminator remained the top entertainer in the Mercury Cougar lineup. Distinguished by its front and raise spoilers, Blacked-out grille, exceptional form side stripes, exhibition wheels and hood scoop, the Eliminator was outfitted with an extraordinary towering-exhibition suspension and taking care of bundle and offered with a wide decision of splendid paint colors.
This uncommon 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator is a generally-furnished case fueled by the discretionary 428/335 HP Cobra Jet V-8 motor. The result of a rotisserie restoration by Turn Key Restorations, it is fulfilled in Competition Green with Black illustrations and Black Décor inner part aggregation, and furnished with focus comfort and production line aerating and cooling.
The Cobra Jet motor is sponsored by a considerable-job C6 Merc-O-Matic transmission and Traction-Lok back close, and supplemented with force guiding and brakes. Offered in the May 2011 issue of Mustangs and Modified Fords magazine, it is reported with a Marti Report and the definitive raise sheet.
